About Us

Everybunny Counts Rabbit Rescue has been a 501(c)(3) nonprofit since 2016. We began as a small independent rescue in Naugatuck and later moved to Bristol, Connecticut, where we operated out of the historic J H Sessions and Sons clock factory downtown. When the building was sold in the winter of 2021, we continued our mission through a dedicated network of foster homes.

In December 2023, supported by our incredible community and a generous grant from AEFCU, we opened a new facility in Ellington, Connecticut. This space has given us a fresh start, a permanent home, and the ability to help even more rabbits in need.

Everybunny Counts is led by a strong and passionate all women operational team. Our board, including our president Becky and vice president Kristin, is powered by heart, resilience, and an unshakeable commitment to animal welfare. Their leadership is strengthened by dozens of volunteers who show up every week to clean, transport, foster, educate, fundraise, and fight for rabbits who cannot speak for themselves.

Over the past ten years, through the work of this powerful team and the dedication of our volunteers, we have rescued and adopted out more than ONE THOUSAND rabbits. Every bun who comes through our doors receives safety, care, compassion, and the chance to find a loving forever home.
